Ben really loves the tone of the Rickenbacker 620/12, especially its signature 12-string jangle that brings such a rich, layered texture to anything you play. He once said, “Even the simplest chords sound so much fuller and more complex.” The bright, shimmering sound really captures that classic 60s vibe, but it’s versatile enough to work in different styles.
The Mapleglo finish is also a real highlight, with the natural wood grain giving it a timeless, elegant look. The rosewood fretboard feels smooth and comfortable, and the compact body makes it much easier to play compared to other 12-strings. It’s got that perfect blend of vintage charm and modern playability.
