This is an absolutely stunning Classic S Custom and one of the more unusual Suhr specifications we’ve had through. The Blue Web finish has a highly textured, almost crystalline appearance that changes dramatically under the light, while the deep tortoiseshell guard and gold hardware give the guitar a wonderfully extravagant look without losing the familiar S-style silhouette.The solid Indian rosewood neck is a major highlight. With rosewood used for both the neck and fingerboard, it gives the guitar a particularly luxurious feel and appearance, while the oiled finish leaves the timber feeling extremely natural in the hand. Suhr’s Even C Slim profile, 9"–12" compound radius and heavy stainless-steel frets make the playing specification distinctly modern and effortless.The HSS electronics are equally well judged. V60LP single-coils in the neck and middle provide the clear, open vintage-inspired tones Suhr is known for, while the gold-covered Thornbucker adds a fuller and more authoritative bridge voice without becoming overly aggressive.
