This Sandstorm Modern Plus is as impressive to play as it is to look at. The finish has a refined yet bold aesthetic that stands out, while the Pau Ferro fretboard on the roasted maple neck delivers a balanced tonal brightness. The Modern Elliptical neck profile feels smooth and responsive, making technical passages a breeze. Ben noted that the stainless steel frets offer “incredible playability and fluid bends,” and he’s a fan of the HSH setup for its versatility, allowing seamless transitions between warm humbucker tones and crisp single-coil clarity.
