Personal Thoughts:
The Angel Player is one of Tom Anderson’s most refined high-performance designs, blending Strat familiarity with modern precision and stability. The Corvette Yellow finish is bold but tasteful, pairing beautifully with the satin maple neck for a very “custom shop hot-rod” aesthetic.
Tonally, this is an extremely versatile setup. The SC2 single coils deliver clarity, punch, and low noise, while the HF3+ bridge humbucker brings serious authority for rock and lead work. The sunken locking tremolo and locking nut make this a rock-solid instrument for players who actually use the bar.
Fast, slick, and impeccably built — exactly what you’d expect from Anderson at this level.
