Personal Thoughts:
The Carved Top Bobcat sits in that sweet spot between a refined singlecut and a high-performance modern classic. It carries Anderson’s precision and consistency, but with a warmth and feel that leans more vintage than many expect.
The Bora Bora Burst on a carved flame maple top is stunning in person — vibrant but tasteful. It’s one of those finishes that shifts depending on light, with depth and movement across the carve that really shows off Anderson’s attention to detail.
The 24 3/4" short scale gives it a slightly softer, more elastic feel under the fingers compared to their traditional 25.5" builds. There’s a touch more bloom in the note, a little more give in the bends — very addictive if you’re used to Les Paul territory but want Anderson playability.
The H1 / H2+ pairing is incredibly versatile. The H1 stays clear and articulate for cleans and pushed edge-of-breakup tones, while the H2+ brings authority and midrange punch without losing clarity. Add the push/pull switching and you’ve got far more tonal range than the clean two-knob layout suggests.
It’s refined, balanced, and very easy to bond with.
Condition Report:
Mint condition. No marks, wear, or playwear to note. Frets, hardware and finish are all exceptionally clean. A beautifully preserved 2020 example.
