This is a really classy Anderson and a great example of how they manage to make a modern performance guitar feel refined rather than overcomplicated. The Angel Player already sits in that sleek, slightly more contemporary part of the Anderson range, but this one has a particularly smart spec. Arctic White with the black hardware and matching headstock is a brilliant combination, giving it a very clean and sharp look, while the maple neck and rosewood board keeps it feeling familiar and balanced in the hand. The pickup layout is a big part of the appeal too. HC1, SC1 and HC3+ with the Switcheroo setup gives the guitar a huge spread of tones, so it should cover everything from cleaner single-coil-style sounds through to much fatter, more driven humbucker voices. Add in the locking trem system, jumbo frets and Even-Taper neck and it ends up being a very serious player’s guitar with loads of flexibility. A very cool USA Anderson.
