This is a really cool Anderson and exactly the sort of build that shows why they have such a strong reputation among players who know what they are looking at. The Icon Classic takes the familiar S-style format and refines it with loads of clever performance-focused details, and this one has a particularly strong spec. Corvette Yellow gives it loads of character without overdoing it, and paired with the black hardware and matching headstock it has a really sharp, modern look. The alder body and maple neck keeps it rooted in that familiar fast, snappy bolt-on territory, while the SC2 / SC2 / HF3+ set should give it a broad range of tones from chimey singles through to a much punchier bridge sound. Add in the Buzz Feiten system, locking trem and Even-Taper neck and it ends up being a very serious player’s guitar with loads of real-world usability. A very classy USA Anderson.
