This is a really classy Anderson and exactly the sort of high-end S-style that players in the know always appreciate. Ferrari Red with the black hardware and matching headstock is a brilliant look, giving the guitar loads of presence without overcomplicating things. The Icon Classic is such a strong platform anyway, but this one has a particularly smart spec. Alder body, maple neck, rosewood board, stainless jumbo frets and compound radius is a very proven recipe, and it should feel incredibly slick and easy to play. I also like the SC1 / SC1 / HC2+ layout a lot, because it gives you all the familiar single-coil clarity in the neck and middle, but with a stronger, more muscular bridge voice when you need it. Add in the Buzz Feiten system and locking trem setup and it ends up being a very serious player’s guitar with loads of real-world usability. A very attractive USA Anderson.
