This is an exceptional Drop Top Classic and the Abalone to Deep Ocean Blue Burst finish is the obvious highlight. The colour moves from lighter aqua and abalone tones through to an intense deep blue around the edges, with the flame maple figuring remaining incredibly prominent throughout. The natural binding, matching back and headstock, black pickguard and dark rosewood board give the whole guitar a beautifully coordinated boutique look.

The Hollow construction adds another dimension to the traditional Drop Top formula, combining a flame maple top with an alder body while reducing some mass and adding a little extra openness and resonance. The Even-Taper neck measures .810" to .870", while the 12"–14" compound radius and stainless-steel Heavy frets give it a fast, precise modern playing feel without becoming excessively flat or clinical.

The HSH configuration is particularly versatile, with HF1 and HF3 humbuckers flanking an SF1 single-coil in the middle. Anderson’s 5-way arrangement also provides the useful neck-and-bridge combination with splitting, allowing the guitar to move between fuller humbucker tones, clearer single-coil textures and more traditional in-between sounds. A spectacular USA-built Anderson with a genuinely standout finish and a very complete specification.
