This is a seriously distinctive Icon Classic and one of the coolest Organic Grain finishes I have seen on an Anderson. The satin white finish allows the natural swamp ash grain to remain visible in black, giving the body a textured, almost hand-drawn appearance rather than the flat look of a conventional solid colour. The psychedelic swirl pickguard pushes the visual side even further and gives the guitar a completely individual character.

The specification underneath is every bit as strong. A maple neck and fingerboard, compound radius and heavy stainless-steel frets give it a fast, precise feel, while the Even-Taper profile keeps things familiar and comfortable. The SC1 / SC1 / HC3 pickup layout gives the guitar a huge amount of flexibility, combining articulate single-coil sounds with a fuller and more powerful bridge humbucker voice. The split switching, Buzz Feiten system and locking tuners make it an extremely practical modern player’s instrument as well.

A really unusual Anderson that manages to look experimental without losing the clean, refined feel the brand is known for.
