The Top T Icon is Tom Anderson’s ultimate refinement of the classic Tele formula — and this Atlantic Storm Figured example absolutely nails it. The flame maple top adds a subtle layer of elegance without tipping into flash, while the bound body and matching back elevate it well beyond vintage reissue territory.
Tonally, this is everything you want from a high-end T-style: fast attack, articulate highs, tight low end, and a beautifully balanced midrange. The compensated 3-saddle bridge keeps the traditional feel intact while offering spot-on intonation. The Buzz Feiten system adds another layer of precision, especially noticeable on complex chords higher up the neck.
Playability is classic Anderson — slick, effortless, and incredibly consistent all the way up the board. The Even-Taper neck profile sits right in that sweet spot where it feels substantial enough for rhythm work but fast and comfortable for lead playing.
