At Squealing Pig Guitars, we’re lucky enough to handle some truly incredible instruments. Over the years, certain guitars have stood out so much that they’ve ended up staying a little longer than intended — becoming part of the personal collections of our team.

The SPG Private Collection is a selection of those guitars.

These are instruments we’ve owned, played and appreciated ourselves. Many of them are rare, collectible, or simply exceptional examples that we couldn’t quite bring ourselves to let go of at the time. Some were acquired because of their historical significance, others because of their outstanding tone or condition.

For collectors and players alike, these guitars represent something a little different from our usual stock. They are pieces that have been chosen not just as inventory, but as instruments we genuinely enjoy owning.

Why These Guitars Are Special

Unlike regular shop stock, the guitars in the SPG Private Collection come directly from the personal collections of our team members. That means each instrument has been carefully looked after and enjoyed by people who are passionate about guitars.

Since these guitars come from our own collections, availability is extremely limited. In many cases, there may only be a single example available, and once it’s gone, it’s unlikely we’ll see another identical instrument again.

For that reason, guitars from the SPG Private Collection are offered on a direct enquiry basis, rather than through the standard online checkout.
